Part 2 is Questions and Responses. Here, your ability to listen to a question and then select an appropriate answer is being tested.

A typical item has one question, followed by three, not four, choices.

A sample question might look like this:

Could you make it a little earlier, I have a date that night?

a) I'm out of dates, but I have some figs.

b) I don't have a watch, so I don't see how.

c) How about 6 o'clock?

Of course, the answer is c).


Some things to pay particular attention to include:

Listening discrimination
Who, What, Where, When, Why and How questions.
Word meaning (vocabulary)
Yes / No Questions.
