Last modified and updated 11 May 2010, added some new material.

I hope to bring a wide variety of things of interest to a wide variety of nice, intelligent beings. Please note that when I say 'nice intelligent beings' I mean advanced, decent, civilized beings - I am sure a small percent of the material will be offensive to sick, evil and just plain bad, ornery jerks (like politicians, religious fanatics, textiles, PC Americans, etc.)

But if you are a normal, healthy, gentle, advanced being from 6 to 106, enjoy this site. I do not want to make it easy for spammers, but you WILL find my contact info many places inside... and I DO like to hear from like minded NICE people.

This Net resource DOES, or at any rate one day soon WILL, contain a lot of material of interest to people with interests similar to mine. Just a few samples:

  • cooking and eating (recipes and restaurants),
  • English language learning / teaching, esp. grammar, TOEIC, and vocabulary,
  • the life of leisure,
  • computers,
  • math and sciences,
  • mental puzzles and things Mensan,
  • philosophy and ethics,

How much does it cost to use this site? Since 1996 EVERYTHING on this site has been FREE. No banner ads, no pop-up, no cookies, no frames, no costs! Someday I may join the money-hungry (and I AM getting hungry, so might not be long now) J and add some content for fee or include ads. However, today all is still free and ad free.

I would like to join the 'postcard-ware' crowd, but with the all the bastard spammers I hate to post my address. If you find a link with my email address you COULD always send a nice email. (Note my plan is a simple, fast to load page, not all the bells and whistles which make WWW stand for World Wide WAIT!).

But, if you feel the page is great, YOU CAN PART with some money! Please contribute your time or money to your local Red Cross or Red Crescent . J
