To be honest, I have only been to a clothing optional beach about 10 or 12 times (usually Black's Beach in California, USA, but one or two others, too), an indoor onsen 7 or 8 times, a rotenburo such as Meotobuchi (yes, this is a picture of me!) 18 ~ 20 times and 4 naturist camps (one or two times each).
The clubs I went to were
Carolina Foothills, in South Carolina. I went with a couple of friends and their two children. Although our stay was short, it was a most enjoyable outing.
Paradise Lakes Resort, in Florida. It was my first experience with BIG commercial clothing optional resorts.
Tri-State Country Club, in Indiana. I highly recommend the place. I went with a friend, his wife and their two children. All the people I met were great! It was a most enjoyable outing. Only complaint: it rained on Sunday morning so we headed back early!
White Thorn Lodge, in Pennsylvania. While I entered AANR though Paradise Lakes, if I had to say a club was 'home', this is the one I would pick to become a member. It has the friendliest people I have ever met at a club, and mind you, as a rule, naturists are very friendly people, so that is saying a lot. And the person who runs the club is super helpful and understanding... the 'service' goes above and beyond expectations! If you get the chance, please give them a call and visit.
