Nick on Tri-State Country Club

Nick on Tri-State Country Club

As I have explained elsewhere, Tri-State represents my first formal naturist camp, although it was not my first nudist activity. I was introduced to the club by some very good friends, and was quite pleased with what I saw there.

Not sure what to expect in the way of facilities, land, etc., I found it to be on the rustic side. There was a large club house, with sleeping facilities for one or two, a play area with table tennis and I think a pool table. There was a collection of board games, and other activities for the children. There was a kitchen area, a small snack bar / gift counter, and an indoor dining area. All under one big roof!

Outside, as I recall, there were the toilets, showers, swimming pool, deck area, volleyball court, outdoor dining area and a huge wooded area. In the woods, were walking trails, campers, cabins, etc. Also, on my first of two trips there we stayed overnight, and there was both a pot luck party and a huge bonfire.

As for the people, I found them friendly, intelligent and all round nice. This includes the staff and visitors. Other observations include the fact that it was wheel-chair accessible, and the visitors did represent a wide range of people types.

Lastly, on a recommendation level, I have to say that I give it high marks in all categories for someone who prefers more 'natural' naturism. It is not overly commercial, it is reasonably priced, and it is completely in the woods. If you are looking for a budget vacation for your family and do not need to be pampered with gourmet restaurants, massages, boutiques and cocktail lounges, then this is the place for you.
